About

Introduction to the International Nepal Fellowship

The International Nepal Fellowship is a Christian mission which has been working in Nepal for nearly sixty years. The mission first worked in the country in 1952 and has grown up alongside the Nepali Church. INF’s vision is for:

“Nepali people in Nepal and beyond experiencing fullness of life in Jesus Christ, and serving with others to promote health, peace, justice and harmony with God and his world.”

INF helps people affected by TB, leprosy, disability, HIV/AIDS and drug abuse, facilitates development amongst poor communities, runs medical camps and provides medical training.

INF members aim to show God’s love through practical health-care and community projects. They hope to share the word of God with Nepalis and to play a full role in the life of the local church.

Purpose of the Vision Trip

The trip, running in Nepal from the 4th-21st of November invites INF supporters from around the world to experience the work of INF in Nepal. Our trip has 11 participants, 7 from the UK and 4 from Australia. The trip is for people who:

– Have supported the work in Nepal for many years, but never had a chance to see it first hand.
– Are considering whether God is calling them to work in Nepal, but don’t know much about Nepal (pretty much my reason!)
– Are keen to develop a church link with INF and Nepal

Over the 2 weeks we will be visiting: Kathmandu, Pokhara, Surkhet, Nepalganj and Chitwan National Park.

Please pray for safety as we travel, empathy and concern when we are confronted by life in Nepal and guidance as we seek God’s purpose for our place on this trip!
